Hi everyone! It’s hard to believe two months have gone by since the last time we wrote on this blog. Many things have happened and we are looking forward to telling you all about them.

When the group from our church in Upland left, we received the visit of Marlon and Becca’s parents. They wanted to know more about Spain and serve alongside us during their time here. Easter week started and the church planned to show the Jesus movie at Hotel Elimar to invite family, friends and neighbors. We had a great time where we could fall in love more with our Savior Jesus Christ but, unfortunately, none of the unbelievers we invited came. God knows… Easter Sunday, the church met at our home early in the morning to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and have breakfast together. It was a very special day for our fellowship.

At the beginning of May, the church celebrated our first retreat. We spent three days at a beautiful country house where we could enjoy God’s creation, a great fellowship and wonderful Bible studies. We invited Pr. Rafael Manzanares and Loretta from CC Mallorca to share the Word with us; we thank God for blessing us so much through their lives and ministry. Abi, Chema, Begoña, Pisco and their kids, Irene and Marco, all of them from our prayer list, came that weekend. Praise the Lord!

Last Saturday, we had the Gospel Choir “Buenas Noticias” from a Baptist Church in Granada, coming to visit and support our church through their love and ministry. The concert had place at a church that lent us their facilities for this evangelistic event. We gave away about 300 invitations and we also informed other believers from other churches in Málaga. The worship songs and the teaching of the Word by Ivan were a huge blessing. Quite a few unbelievers attended; please pray for them that the Word might change their hearts forever.

The church has been meeting at a hotel on Sundays for the last two weeks. The Lord provided this place and so far the experience is being really exciting. Everybody seems to enjoy the new stage and it’s our prayer that we might be able to be light and salt for our dear town Rincón de la Victoria.
